Salience Network

Your Spotlight Operator

The Salience Network helps answer a crucial question: What matters most right now?

What it does

At every moment, your brain is surrounded by more information than it can consciously process. The Salience Network continually scans your internal and external world and chooses what you focus on based on the Focus Code.

The Salience Network also decides how you respond to whatever captures your attention by deciding whether you act or reflect, a process known as network switching.

When it works well

A balanced Salience Network helps you stay present, emotionally aware, and responsive to what is genuinely important rather than merely loud, urgent, or stimulating.

When it is hijacked

Digital platforms, chronic stress, intense emotion, and compulsive habits can repeatedly trigger this network. Attention becomes fragmented, reactive, and easier for outside forces to capture.

How to work with it

The Salience Method helps you Reset, Release, and Rebuild. You can interrupt overstimulation, loosen draining patterns, and strengthen the ability to direct attention with greater awareness and intention.
